Remember when, not so long ago, central banks said they wished we had an inflation problem? “We know how to deal with it,” they used to say.

Yes, well…

I have published in The International Banker an article that discusses the current high inflation crisis: how past policies got us here, how hard it will be to get inflation back under control, and, most importantly, the lessons that I think policymakers should draw from the current predicament and how they should inform economic policymaking going forward.
